Join the Cancer Research Wales team and get ready to experience a challenge like no other. It will be tough but we know you’ve got what it takes!
This trek follows the beautiful Machame Route, approaching Kilimanjaro from the south. Join us as we climb through the tropical temperatures of the rainforest, across the dusty African plains, and through the clouds, all with one goal in mind – to stop cancer in it’s tracks.
After 7 days of tough trekking, we will reach the snow-capped summit of Uhuru Peak – rewarded with a sunrise we will never forget. Get ready to watch the world wake up from the rooftop of Africa, all whilst helping to improve the outcome of cancer patients in Wales.

Trek for loved ones and raise vital funds to support our world-class research which, in-turn, will give hope of a better future for cancer patients here in Wales.
“The achievement will be immense, but it is the money that we will raise for Cancer Research Wales that will be the glory – to fund continued research into prevention, early diagnosis and better treatment of cancer, in Wales and across the world.” – Rhian Whiting, Robertsons Solicitors, and CRW 2022 Kilimanjaro participant.
